From The Oregonian:
About 50 Portland firefighters battled a grass fire tonight at North Greeley Avenue and Going Street, sparked when a FedEx truck struck a power pole nearby.
The fire covered about 1 1/2 acres. No one was hurt, and no buildings were damaged.
The fire started about 8:30 p.m. and spread up a hill toward the Overlook neighborhood, said Lt. Allen Oswalt of Portland Fire & Rescue. Crews fought the blaze for about a half-hour, and some firefighters were to remain until midnight to watch for flare-ups.
