Look out world. With this posting I am all atwitter to announce the expansion of Culture Shock. Henceforth, these pages will include a broader array of valuable, invaluable, and valueless commentary on art and life in Portland because, well, we've got more writers.

When looking for individuals to regale me with fascinating observations and opinions, I have never had to turn much farther than the group of people I worked with at Portland Center Stage from 1992 to 2000. How fortuitous, then, that a good handful of these same, smart people have agreed to contribute to this blog from time to time, and to educate and entertain us all. Trust me, it's going to be fun!
