If Silence was Golden ...

Readers, I've neglected the blog all week. It's time to post something new and fresh, even if it means pushing previous posts on the inexorable march down the screen until they fall into the memory hole of the blog archive.

Like many citizens, I've been caught in the powerful vortex being spun by 24 hour cable TV, transfixed by the pundits as they spin, slice, dice, analyze, scrutinize, rationalize, inspect, dissect, detect, and reject the candidates and the issues. Too much talking! Make it stop! Rather than add to the palaver, I'll let Mose Allison do the talking for me because he's so cool:
