Mausoleum Makeover

If you've ever jogged, sauntered, biked or bladed down that glorious OMSI-to-Springwater Trail, you've surely noticed the mausoleum that rises from the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge. That structure features an old, faded mural of a blue heron that's about to get some company. In fact, it's about to become the largest hand-painted mural in the United States.

Painting is just underway and organizers hope to complete the mural by November 3. Read more in today's Sellwood Bee. (Sorry, there are no anchors, you'll have to scroll down to the mural story.)
