With a smaller war chest remaining in the closing days of the election season, the McCain campaign has been forced to become frugal as it tries to reach undecided voters--a challenge heightened by Obama's investment in a thirty-minute ad that was reportedly watched by 33.6 million people. Fortunately, the McCain/Palin campaign was able to cut production costs for its own infomercial by using this footage from Calvin Coolidge, running it as a preview before the showing of "talkies" in select cities.
