I thought I might finish a blog post this evening. But then I got to thinking about NASA bombing the moon and thought, "What's the point?"
Instead, here are two photographs taken from my living room window in two different seasons.

The snow scene looks magical!
Thanks! The winter picture was manipulated using the site, http://tiltshiftmaker.com/, which mimics a kind of camera lens to get the effect of photographing a miniature model. The technique relies on a kind of optical illusion caused by focusing one area while blurring others, fooling our eyes into seeing the scene from a new perspective. The effect in this picture is a little more mild than in other examples, which you can find on the tilt shift site.
Thanks for letting us know about the very cool Tilt Shift website, MTC... I can tell I'm going to waste a lot of my time playing there.
I have terrible anxiety about leaving garbage on the moon. Really.
I don't recognize your intersection, but the 2 shots are wonderful.
